Be a part of AAJA’s marquee event of the year – only ONE MONTH away!
The Asian American Journalist Association needs a few enthusiastic and reliable volunteers who can help at our signature event, 30th Anniversary celebration, Trivia Bowl XVI .
Trivia Bowl is our dynamic, interactive and entertaining signature “fun-raising” (fundraising) signature event. The event will be hosted on Friday, October 14 at ABC7 Broadcast Center in Glendale.
We are looking for individuals who can help out from 2 PM-10PM and 5 PM-MIDNIGHT.
Responsibilities include day-of event preparation logistics, overseeing registration, working with game monitors, selling raffle tickets, assisting with the live auction and prize items.
Complimentary parking and meal are offered.
Event proceed go towards supporting students who pursue the journalism profession; providing increased training to AAPI journalists so they can be effective leaders for positive change in the industry with a commitment to diversity in the newsroom, and forging stronger ties within the AAPI communities.
