AAJA in partnership with The Poynter Institute is offering two fellowships for 2009. AAJA members can choose from a wide selection of 18 courses from multimedia, to TV power reporting, newsroom management to narrative writing, which will be held this year at The Poynter Institute in St. Petersburg, FL.
Applicants should be full-time employees of a print, broadcast or online news organization, or journalism educators. Freelancers are welcome to apply. The selected fellows will have transportation costs to The Poynter Institute covered by AAJA. Tuition will be covered by Poynter. Hotel costs are the responsibility of the fellows.
