2012 AAJA-Los Angeles Scholarship Applications Being Accepted

2012 AAJA-LOS ANGELES SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS BEING ACCEPTED

The Los Angeles Chapter of the Asian American Journalists Association is pleased to announce its annual scholarship competition for full-time students attending colleges and universities in Greater Los Angeles.

Applications and work samples will be reviewed by a distinguished panel of judges led by Frank Buckley, co-anchor of “KTLA 5 Morning News,” and Henry Fuhrmann, assistant manager editor at the Los Angeles Times.

Applications (available at the link below) must be received by Friday, Sept. 28, 2012. Awards will range up to $1,000. Winners will be notified on Oct. 5 and will be invited to receive their awards during AAJA-LA’s annual Trivia Bowl competition on Oct. 12.
