The V3 Digital Media Conference (V3con) will highlight and expand multi-platform Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communications by gathering thought-provoking AAPI online journalists, creative social media communicators, seasoned bloggers and those interested in engaging on digital platforms. In this unique, one-day conference setting, all are invited to share their experiences, knowledge, endeavors and visions with others during interactive panels and workshops. This is the fourth year AAJA-LA is hosting V3con (V3 = vision, visibility, voice). Past honorees have included Roy Choi of Kogi, Ann Curry, Richard Lui (MSNBC anchor) and award-winning broadcast journalist Lisa Ling. This year, we’ve already announced Joe Zee of Yahoo Style and Randall Park of ABC’s hit television show “Fresh Off the Boat” as honorees.
Join us for an informative, engaging and dynamic day, whether you are a digital media journalist, a seasoned blogger or someone interested in learning more.

As a volunteer, you’ll be working with fellow AAJA members, students, professionals and working journalists – many in the top of their fields from organizations such as the Los Angeles Times, KTLA and KPCC. If you’d like to lend a hand, please fill out the volunteer form here. Feel free to pass along this information to any friends or co-workers who may be interested in volunteering.
