If you’ve never been to a UNITY convention, you don’t know what you’re missing.
The world’s largest journalism convention, it’s an event that comes around only every 4 years. It’s a joint effort by AAJA, the Hispanic journalists (NAHJ), the Native American journalists (NAJA) and the Black journalists (NABJ) associations. Everyone who’s anyone in journalism will be there – including all the major media recruiters. There are also dozens of workshops, panels, speeches, seminars, a massive job fair and networking dinners, lunches, mixers – along with nighttime social events that’ll keep you up as long as you want to be.
I highly recommend that you attend this year’s – which is being held in Chicago from July 23-27.
